How is your country, region, or community reacting to COVID-19?

There are checkpoints being made for people, to restrict entry to places that have had cases. The government made the testing kits free so that more people can get checked when they feel worried. Schools are now conducting online classes or giving bulk homework. Some public gathering sites are banning people from playing or conduct activities. Churches have suspended mass and went online or chose to broadcast their services. Many malls check people's temperature and don't let people with a high temperature in. Train stations also do this with agents washing their hands after dealing with money and bringing people with high temperatures to medical sites.

Tell us exactly how the pandemic has affected you.

My cousins are terrified of even one person having a fever for that means no work = no pay. We don't know how long it's going to take until they can get money again. I'm a student, currently doing my thesis, and it's really difficult to finish our data analysis without meeting with my group mates face-to-face, especially, when they're so busy with their families and are checkpoints away now. We're lucky to have finished our data gathering but the other groups aren't done yet! Lastly, my parents - they're both old and sickly. We have to go to hospitals twice a week and buy medicine. Thus, we're literally surrounded by possible carriers of the virus and still NEED to go to places where they will be. It's utterly frustrating because I also need a job because our funds are running out. The maintenance and bills won't go down but the jobs might.
