What does life as a woman or girl look like in your country/city/town/village? Any issues/challenges?
Wow, in my village, a woman is the most underlooked. They are oppressed. They don't make any decision based on any affair. Women are very much oppressed and I hope to help change this situation in my village one day... for the case of the girls it's worse. They are subjected to early marriages as early as the age of 13. You find a girl is a single mother - isn't that really painful? So that's the situation of women and girls in my village.
What would you like the world to know about you? What life experience, challenge or achievement do you want to share?
Well my life has been full of ups and downs and I'm not afraid to tell my story to the world. I lived with my parents when I was young. I am the last born among eight kids..my mum was living a very sickly life but she managed to educate us through all that she went through. My dad was actually capable of providing us all we needed but he was so mean that we suffered right in his face. He kept living with my mum but he was not supportive in anyway. My mum in her sick situation managed to raise us and she educated us as well so at the moment, my elders have all graduated and I have just completed my degree though it was through thick and thin but I completed.
I would like to tell the world that any one can achieve any goal as long as he/she is determined and ready to face every challenge in life. I wish my voice could reach everyone out there because I'm sure there are people who need this message to make them have hope and believe.
