What does life as a woman or girl look like in your country/city/town/village? Any issues/challenges/milestones?

It is constantly evolving through advocacy and intervention... a gradual liberation from the cultural practices that held us back.

What would you like the world to know about YOU? What life experience, challenge or achievement do you want to share?

The I'm Glad I'm a Girl Foundation and summer camp is an empowering initiative that began with the only all-women sorority at the University of the West Indies - the Mary Seacole Hall. Charged with empowering and inspiring young girls across Jamaica, the fun-filled and informative 1-week camp engages young girls on topics of their sexual and reproductive rights, rights as a girl child, financial literacy, and notions of beauty and physical and mental health.

I am currently the Chief Camp Coordinator for the I'm Glad I'm a Girl Foundation and have been able to do all of the aforementioned and to reach a wider audience to achieve a greater impact!

What are you most passionate about and what are you doing with that passion?

I am passionate about human development, advocacy and leadership.

Complete this sentence: "To be a girl or woman today, is to be..."

Phenomenally powerful, a force to be reckoned with!
