What does life as a woman or girl look like in your country/city/town/village? Any issues/challenges/milestones?
Being a woman... it comes with struggles. Like you have to continuously prove to the world that you are good enough... that you are worth it. Most men treat woman as objects... they say women should do what they are born to do...they believe in stereotypes.
What would you like the world to know about YOU? What life experience, challenge or achievement do you want to share?
I'm a 22 year old girl who aspires to be a motivational speaker. I dream of empowering other women out there and telling them that the world doesn't define us, our society doesn't define us and men certainly do not define us. We were born not to be ordinary but to stand out. I'm currently part of the Esther Mentorship Program started by Dr Nothabo Ncube. It's about empowering each other as women.
What are you most passionate about and what are you doing with that passion?
I'm passionate about making a change in the world in small or big ways. My dream has always been about becoming an international motivational speaker. At high school, I was part of the public speaking club. Now am part of Esther Mentorship Program which empowers women. I attend workshops and seminars organised by Women Institute of Leadership and Development and I am an ambassador of Transparency International Zimbabwe which is an NGO that fight's corruption. So I'm very passionate about changing and empowering women 'cause we got to stick together.
