Jacqueline
What does life as a woman or girl look like in your country / city / town / village? Any issues / challenges / exciting milestones?
It is very encouraging, especially when one finds herself in the field of science.
What would you like the world to know about YOU? What life experience, challenge or achievement do you want to share? What obstacles have you faced and overcome?
Being the only female in my year group to specialize in farm mechanization and engineering, I’d like to entreat young girls to persevere and focus more on their books. Yes, people will try to put the fear of science courses into you but know that they are but suggestions. I always say that, if it is to be, it is up to us an individuals.
If you are an entrepreneur, tell us all about your business and how you got started.
I have a small business called Smileys. It started as a hobby by shopping online and I decided to put some stuff on my social media page on sale and that was it. It’s been approximately 3 months now and so far, God has been good.
What are you most passionate about and what are you doing with that passion?
Having chats with kids in my free time. We talk about the future especially their preferred careers.
What's your definition of success?
Getting a desired outcome for whatever you set out for.
How have the women and girls around you helped you to get to where you are today?
In numerous ways, especially learning from my mum’s ( formerly a secretary by profession, now a rice seller) past mistakes, their support and directions.
Looking externally into the public sphere, what female public figure inspires you the most to achieve your dreams?
