Disha Madaan
Hello, I am Disha Madaan, Founder & CEO of Eduvest Connect Pvt Ltd, an educational consultancy.
A new-age entrepreneur, I started my journey with the intent to bring about a transformation in the education sector. I am a Finance graduate, pursuing a Master’s in Education. I love staying close to nature and I am passionate about my work.
I always knew the education sector was my calling. Though I never had a written plan for a business setup, I had one loosely outlined in my head. With time, my intent to be a catalyst of change became a mission and set the path for the first step into my journey.

Tell us all about your company. What services do you offer?
Eduvest Connect Pvt Ltd provides solutions that cater to the educational needs of all stakeholders. With the advent of effective technology, we successfully conduct training programs for teachers, which yield better learning outcomes and enhanced organizational skills.
We offer an array of services that assist institutions in laying the foundation for an effective teaching-learning experience and consistently manage it. Under the guidance of industry veterans and counsellors, we provide an environment that empowers students and parents to make decisions that meet their needs.
Our newly launched product "Eduvest Calendar" is a one-stop portal for schools' day-to-day functioning.
How did you get the idea or concept for your company? What was your mission at the outset?
As a young adult, I took a keen interest in reviewing different educational policies and observed a drift in their objectives, which made me feel uncomfortable. An insight into the nitty-gritty of the Indian education system inspired me to establish a platform, which provides an effective educational experience, fulfilling all the needs and interests of a child. Thus, Eduvest Connect was conceptualized.
How have your past personal & professional experiences helped you to run your company?
Since both my parents were associated with education, the aura of our home naturally drew me towards it, and it was a common subject of our discussions. While my mother looked into the academics, my father managed the logistics and finance. Aspiring to obtain the best blend of both worlds, I took up a Bachelor’s in Finance and a Masters in Education. My childhood experiences backed by my enhanced research skills helped me to launch and effectively manage my company.
What is the biggest personal / professional obstacle you've had to overcome?
I set foot in the industry as a young entrepreneur while continuing with my education, which appeared slightly challenging initially. But my enthusiasm for my work and commitment towards my education helped me maintain a very productive balance between both.
What's your definition of success? Do you consider yourself a success?
For me, success is being able to do what I love every single day. The quantum of work listed on my daily schedule is not as significant, but the impact it creates is. I do consider myself successful as I am able to show up for my work, regardless of how I feel, physically or emotionally. I believe that consistency and passion are the keys to success.
Have the women around you helped you to rise? How?
"Behind every successful woman is a tribe of strong, independent and passionate women." A team of ambitious, creative and independent women lead Eduvest. Team Eduvest is a safe space that encourages young female professionals to express their ideas and be themselves. Each member of the team believes in lifelong learning and we are able to uplift each other professionally and spiritually.
What are some of your future plans? Are you working on anything else right now?
Other than pouring my heart into my venture and its expansion, I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Education. In the near future, I will continue to network with some of the greatest educators in the country to provide the ever-growing education industry, with a lot of new courses, teacher empowerment sessions, and much more!
What advice would you give to a woman starting out in your industry or starting her own company/organization?
Perfection is an illusion, do not chase it. Start now, start imperfect, start even when you feel you need to refine the idea, just start.
Describe yourself in ONE word. Passionate
