What does life as a woman or girl look like in your country/city/town/village? Any issues/challenges/milestones?
Being a woman in my country is very trying. Our only aim in life should be to aspire to settle down. You can be anything, a doctor, a lawyer or a professor but you must still be lower than your husband. Women who earn more money than their husbands are usually regarded with suspicion. Chasing your dreams is useless because you have obligations to your family.
What would you like the world to know about YOU? What life experience, challenge or achievement do you want to share?
At home, my brothers used to strongly believe that most jobs are not meant for women and there are some feminine jobs men should not do (nursing, hairdressing, etc) but little by little I'm beginning to change their patriarchal mindsets and I'm getting them to look at things from a different perspective.
What are you most passionate about and what are you doing with that passion?
I love writing a lot. I sometimes write short stories and articles that showcase the injustices and social vices people especially women and children go through and give them to my family and friends to read.
